Alina founded A to Z with a vision of demystifying accounting for her clients. Her professional journey began with nursing, leveraging her B.S. degree in Nursing from San Francisco State University. Her decision to pursue nursing was driven by her lifelong passion for helping people. She worked as a nurse for five years, gaining valuable experience in healthcare and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

During her college years, Alina also worked as a bookkeeper, which provided her with exposure to the financial side of businesses. Over the last 15 years, she accumulated extensive experience in bookkeeping, further nurturing her interest in finance. Recognizing that bookkeeping combined her passion for helping people and her fondness for managing finances, Alina made the logical transition into the field and became the principal of A to Z Bookkeeping Services.

As a seasoned bookkeeper, Alina has honed her skills and knowledge in handling complex transactions, and providing valuable advice to clients. Her expertise in bookkeeping has not only assisted businesses in maintaining accurate financial records, but has also played a significant role in aiding various business decisions. Outside of her professional life, Alina enjoys exploring new places through traveling. She values spending quality time with her family and friends, cherishing the moments shared with loved ones. As a San Francisco native, Alina roots for her favorite Bay Area sports teams.

Lydia has always been fascinated with the psychological aspect of financial decisions, especially intrigued by the rationality and biases behind these choices. As a result, she studied Managerial Economics, with minors in Psychology and Economics at UC Davis.

Over the last eight years, Lydia has utilized her financial acumen to advise clients on making rational business decisions based on accurate financials. She offers invaluable insights and guidance across all facets of their businesses, ranging from budgeting and financial analysis to payroll management and compliance. Her goal is to deliver exceptional, personalized bookkeeping services that will help clients establish best practices, and ensure long-term financial stability and growth.

When Lydia isn’t immersed in numbers and financial statements, you can find her indulging in one of her many hobbies. Lydia enjoys crafting and caring for her succulents (over 20 and counting!). She also loves live music and sporting events. You will often find her at a concert or sporting event supporting her favorite Bay Area sports teams, the Golden State Warriors, and San Francisco Giants!

Brendon graduated UC Davis with a B.S. in Economics because of his love for the stock market and finances. Before joining A to Z, he had extensive experience in customer service and property management. In the last six years, Brendon has advised clients on accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and operational best practices. He is well-versed in tracking client investments for cost basis and gains.

Outside of his professional life, you will find Brendon on the basketball court sharpening his shooting skills. He also enjoys spending quality time with his family, often spoiling his nieces and nephews with gifts. You might also receive news articles from him about the current state of the economy and investment strategies.

Cynthia graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.S. in Computer Science. She initially enjoyed building websites and working through code. However, it wasn’t until her final year of college that she stumbled upon her true calling – bookkeeping.

Throughout her career, Cynthia has built strong relationships with clients and their employees, effectively becoming their reliable point of contact for all things related to payroll and accounting. She has advised clients across all sectors on employee issues, general accounting questions, and best practices.

On weekends, she indulges in her passion of traveling and photography, seeking out new experiences to nurture her adventurous spirit. Whether she’s traversing unexplored locales, capturing the beauty of the world through her photography lens, or crafting heartfelt letters to stay connected with friends, Cynthia embraces every moment with enthusiasm and curiosity.

Danielle holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from San Francisco State University. She decided to pursue accounting because it complemented her propensity for numbers and attention to detail. She finds it interesting how a whole business can be visualized using numbers. At her previous job as an accounting assistant, she developed a fondness for bookkeeping that led her to A to Z.

In her free time, you will find her traveling and taking photographs to capture new memories. She is also very active, often enjoying a Pilates workout or going on hikes. Even though she is calm and quiet in the office, she enjoys amusement parks and adrenaline-pumping activities. She is surprisingly competitive and continually strives to be the best version of herself.

Andre graduated from San Jose State University with a B.S. in Finance. He chose to pursue bookkeeping because he has always been interested in starting his own gym. Over the years, Andre has helped clients manage cash flow and AP/AR, working closely with vendors and clients. He enjoys streamlining and implementing processes to make accounting less tedious.

When Andre is not in the office, you will most likely find him breaking a personal record at the gym. As a personal trainer, he is passionate about working out and living a healthy lifestyle. You might also find him writing and drawing the next popular graphic novel.

Stephanie graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in finance and a minor in commercial real estate. She decided to pursue accounting because her grandfather is a passionate accountant. She loves numbers and is continually fascinated by them, always inquisitive about any anomalies she discovers.

Stephanie joined A to Z with prior experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk at a construction supply company and as a Staff Accountant at a hotel. She assisted the accounting team in processing weekly payments and payroll. At A to Z, she advises clients on payroll, and manages their accounts receivables and payables.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, jogging, traveling, and spending time with friends. You will often find her listening to the latest Korean pop song or watching a drama. As an avid foodie, she enjoys trying new restaurants, from Vietnamese and Korean to Thai and Italian.
